The day-to-day management of St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital is the responsibility of the following senior administrative officers: |

Allan E. Atzrott, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Atzrott earned a Masters of Hospital Administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He joined the hospital as President and CEO in December 2000 as part of the Board's efforts to merge the two Hospitals, re-energize the merged entities, set short and long-term operational and financial strategies, and build a management structure.
Mr. Atzrott has more than 32 years of management experience, including 19 years as a chief executive officer. He is the first Orange County hospital executive to be named to the Board of Governors of the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Northern Metropolitan Hospital Association (NorMet), is a former AHA Regional Advisory Board member, sits on several community and professional boards, and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. |
Mary Elizabeth Duffy, Chief Financial Officer, Sr. Vice President, Finance
Ms. Duffy is responsible for the management and operation of all financial services of the hospital and its related facilities. A Certified Public Accountant who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Master of Public Administration in Health Services from New York University, Ms. Duffy previously served as Chief Fiscal Officer for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen, Vice President of Financial Services of St. Barnabas Health Care System, and Chief Financial Officer of St. Barnabas Medical Center. |

Robert S. Ross, Senior Vice President, Operations
Mr. Ross received a Masters of Health Services Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College. He has more than 17 years of experience in the health care industry. Prior to joining St. Luke's Cornwall administration, Mr. Ross held the position of Senior Director, Administration at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Ross is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is also a member of the George Washington University Alumni Association for Health Services Management and Policy. |
Christine Elizabeth Jelalian, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Jelalian is Board Certified in General and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and has been affiliated with the hospital since 1985 as a surgeon. She served as chairperson of the St. Luke's Department of Surgery from 1992 to 1995, Vice President of the St. Luke's Medical Staff from 1996 to 1997, President of the
St. Luke's Medical Staff in 1998, and Medical Director at St. Luke's from 1999 through July 2001. In July 2001, her responsibilities were expanded to both campuses. She received her Medical Degree in 1975 from New York Medical College followed by a Residency in General Surgery from 1975-1980. |

Mary Kelley,Vice President, Quality Management
Ms. Kelley received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management from the College of St. Scholastica, and received her Masters in Business Administration from Marist College. She has more than 22 years of experience in quality improvement and regulatory requirements in the health care sector. Currently her responsibilities include Quality Management/Performance Improvement, Peer Review Functions, Clinical Infection Control, Medical Staff Services, Joint Commission and DOH compliance. Ms. Kelley is a Registered Health Information Administrator and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. |
Joan Cusack-McGuirk, Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer
Joan Cusack-McGuirk, RN, BSN, MA, CNAA-BC, has been in health care for more than 25 years. She graduated from St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in NYC, received her BSN from SUNY New Paltz, earned a Master's Degree in Administration and Information Technology at NYU School of Education, and is a graduate of the Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives. Ms. Cusack-McGuirk is President-Elect of NYONE (New York Organization of Nurse Executives) and served as President of that organization's NorMet Region in 2006-2007. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and SUNY New Paltz National Honor Society. |

Sue Sullivan, Vice President, Development and Government Affairs
Executive Director, Hospital Foundation
Sue Sullivan is a development and marketing professional with 20 years of experience. She is responsible for all aspects of fundraising and community and government affairs. In her leadership role, Ms. Sullivan provides the important links between the community and the organization and works with hospital leadership to provide sustained and consistent messaging. She serves as the hospital’s Chief Lobbyist in Washington, D.C. and Albany, focusing on governmental issues affecting health care in the region.
Ms. Sullivan received a Bachelor's Degree in public relations and speech communications from Syracuse University. She serves on the boards of the
Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and the New Paltz Regional Chamber.Her memberships include the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, Association of Fund Raising Professionals, and American College of Healthcare Executives. |
Deborah Turner, Vice President, Human Resources
As Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Turner is responsible for employee-related policies, procedures and benefits. She has more than 19 years of experience in human resources. Prior to joining St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in 2001, she was Regional Vice President of Human Resources for Genesis Health Ventures. She has a B.A. in Business Administration from Ramapo College, New Jersey, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. |

Jill Barton, Assistant Vice President, Finance
Ms. Barton oversees the departments of patient registration, medical records, general accounting, budget and reimbursement, and patient accounting. A graduate of Northwood University, Midland, Michigan, she brings 20 years of financial experience to her position. Prior to joining St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Ms. Barton was the Chief Financial Officer at Kingston Regional Health Care System. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. |
