Experience the joy of giving as a St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital volunteer.
Volunteers provide a vital customer service link to our patients and visitors, and assist staff in various departments throughout the two hospital campuses and off-site. Thanks to their dedicated commitment of time and talent, we are able to offer patients, visitors and employees extra support. St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital volunteers are highly appreciated and honored for their hard work and dedication.
St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital volunteers come from virtually every town in our community and represent a variety of personal and professional backgrounds. Our volunteers typically include new residents, homemakers, career professionals, high school and college students, retirees, and former patients. They volunteer to make a difference in the community, to explore career options, to gain experience and to meet new people. Daytime, evening and weekend opportunities are available at
St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. You can donate your time as follows:
- Greet and escort patients and visitors
- Serve customers in the gift shops
- Work at the New to You Boutique
- Deliver flowers, books and magazines to patients
- Assist family members in surgical suites
- Assist patients in our new Center for Joint Replacement.
- Provide data entry/clerical support

- Be able to move throughout the hospital

Student Volunteers, who serve from age 14 until high school graduation, are a vital part of our volunteer team. They are assigned to all areas of the hospital and may work through the entire school year, with flexible schedules.
Your Commitment - It's a serious one! Our patients rely on all staff for their care, professional and volunteer.
You make a difference!
